Ghalib, a shayar never came before, whose shayari is as a flame for the world of poetry.

Aah ko chahiya ek umra asar hone tak,
kaun jeeta hai tere julf ke sir hone tak……….

    Dear Sir,
With efforts like this Hindustan will remain ever immortal. “Koi to baat hai ki hasti mit-tee nahin hamari”
As an Indian I shall ever be proud of Mirza Ghalib whose poetry opens every other time a new philosophical horizen.

    Hi,

I need to gift my Grandfather with works of Mirza Ghalib. The books should have the explanation in english as it has in the poetry posted on the website. I stay in Mumbai and would be great if someone can help me on this by mailing or posting a reply on this. I shall then approach the bookstore and get them.

    Regards,
    Pankaj

    “Fir-ke nigaah Char-su thahri ushi~ke ruBaru,
ush~ne to meri cHasma kO quilla~numa bana diya”

A poet who is like moon among the stars.I remember his lines :

Ragoon mein daudte rehne ke hum nahin kayal
jo aankh hi se na tapka to vo lahu kya hai.

I love to read to these lines again and again and can’t stop admiring their intensity
